The trainee will tell, show and practice doing the skill.
The trainer will evaluate the trainee using the skills checklist.
Classroom Implementation
for Module Two
The trainer will be responsible for the following activities:
Submit in-service proposal to administration via MyLearningPlan.com
Submit building/room use form to building secretary
Contact participants via email two weeks prior to training session and remind them to bring a worksheet saved in PDF format
Contact participants to confirm training location and time 3-5 days prior to training
Prepare presentation and practice
Facilitate training
The participants will be responsible for:
Enrolling in course via MyLearningPlan.com
Completing prerequisite activities
Pilot
A pilot group consisting of 15 WMS teachers completed the pilot training for Module Two on August 25, 2009.
The group was made up of teachers from both 7th and 8th grade.
The group included various subject areas: Math, LA, FACS, Foreign Language, Tech Ed, Computer Apps, Social Studies, Music and Science.
Following the pilot group training, some adjustments were made to the sequencing of skills.
